Tech Meltdown Magic! Day 27

Yesterday was a day of wild website technology meltdowns. This blog refused to co-operate, changed shape before my eyes, and beat me about the brain until I gave in.

I kid you not, this blog which was until yesterday very simple to write, changed under my nose.

Suddenly the text was white on a white background, impossible to see. As were the instructions for how to change it. And not only the post I was writing, all the other posts! Crazy!

But you know, there are no accidents. Everything happens for a reason.

At three minutes pas 6pm, I gave up.

I'd tried to fix it all afternoon without success. Fine. No-one will fall off a cliff if I don't publish a blog today.

I'm going to put the kettle on and forget all about it.

At 6.37pm, I got this from Nicky. who as you will know by now, is helping me with this project.

Because that's Love.

It was also a genius brainwave! A Guest Blog! Why has no-one else thought of this?

Oh, they have? Well, WHY did nobody tell me?!

A Guest Blog will give all of you a break from me and I'll have a break from doing a blog for one day a week! Plus I can invite all fabulous friends to do one and they can share this vision for the book with all of their friends and followers. Genius! For which I have to give Nicky the credit.

Hold on! I believe in magic. We all believe in magic don't we?

So what was going on with the web site? How come the text changed colour all by itself? Maybe, it was a technological intervention by the web pixies!

Magic in action under our very noses!

One exciting thing I have to share with you is that a great magician friend of mine, Dr Anthony Darkstone Brooks, is going to feature me in his Darkstone Dossiers interview tomorrow night (Sat 10th Oct) on Zoom at 9pm GMT.

I'm going to share stories from my life and chat about all things magic and unmagic.

(We may even plug the book a little.)
