Get a bloomin' move on! - Day 13
How is it possible to go from having all the time in the world to feeling like I'm playing catch up?
I mean, I created this challenge, no-one is waiting for any particular results, it's not like the world is shouting, "Get a blooming move on!"
Imagine if you were David Blaine a few weeks ago, 25,000 feet up in the air, held up by only a handful of helium balloons watched by millions on YouTube. Now that would be pressure.
And yet, I do feel a real urgency to keep up with the momentum of this challenge after just two weeks.
Yesterday, the self-imposed stress of trying to find a file of film and photos from my time in Fiji threw me off my 'healthy, happy, fun and easy' way of working.
Today, having learnt from my mistake, I made the task of finding these files my one and only focus of the day. Find them, I told myself and you can have the rest of the day off.
After a few more hours of searching in my over cluttered laptops that I definitely have to organise soon, I found these photos of me doing a show for 150 women in Fiji this Feb.
You can see why they are so precious. This is a photo of my audience. How lovely!
Below is the audience laughing at something or other in my new talk. I'm so relieved to have found them, you can understand why I panicked!
Tomorrow the file of film and photos will go to my friend who is going to help me make a speaker promo reel.
What has this to do with this challenge? Every time I speak to an audience, I can share my book.
I had no idea that this challenge would fill my time so much!
But you know, I'm enjoying it all, thank you so much for coming along with me!
And I promise you, this is only the start. Much much MUCH more magic is just around the corner!
