A
very Happy New Year to you from Brighton!! We have been
buried deep in snow for the last week as you probably
are too! (except those reading this in Las Vegas!). Time
seems to go slowly since sport/dance classes, shopping
and driving is all off the activity menu. I'm spending
a lot of time in my magic studio preparing for an unusual
amount of shows this early in the year.
Last week I saw the New Year in entertaining a hotel full
of revellers in Geneva, complete with midnight fireworks
over the lake. Next week if the snow clears you can catch
me at www.cabaretboomboom.co.uk
on 16th January up in Walkley, Sheffield and if you happen
to be Danish you can see me in Copenhagen at the Danish
Magic Circle on 23rd January.
You're probably not Danish
though but if you hail from 'up north' and are anywhere
near Blackpool, I'm doing a whole week of exciting shows
starting with a Brazilian Carnival Ball 13th Feb (yes,
I know! in February Blackpool!) and then a week of the
'Queens of Magic' show in the Horseshoe where I'm joined
by 2 fellow female magicians, 4 male dancers and our own
choreographer - so exciting! www.visitblackpool.com.
I think I'll take March off, whatever happened to Jan
and Feb being the quiet months of the year?!
Meanwhile back in the Sequin
Starship, Bongo the puppy will soon be a much bigger 6
months old and is more of a scamp than ever. My chap John
has started a dog walking business www.johnnywalkabout.com
and I am his official stand-in dog walker! Not in feathers
or high heels of any description! So I am still very much
enjoying the country life, today stomping through snowy
winter woods as a small snow blizzard was just starting.
They say we have another week of white stuff! Here's to
the thaw to come!
I hope you are all keeping
warm and happy and are looking forward to many good things
for 2010!!!!
With warm fireside greetings!!!
