Just before January bows out to a fresh February, HALLO! HAPPY NEW YEAR! Here we are again, still spinning on this fabulous Globe of ours!
 

The Diva has a new Angel! Let me introduce you to the all new, all efficient, Angel, my new DA (Divine Assistant) Here she is (pictured left), ready to answer your calls on my usual number of 07801 341066.

Angel is stage trained, with a degree in graphic arts and ran her own entertainment agency before becoming a full time fine artiste based in Brighton. What’s more, she is thoroughly efficient and organised as well as very lovely and will make sure you receive quotes/contracts/invoices and publicity on time!

Meanwhile, while she is being efficient on my behalf, I shall be being creative, rehearsing my sequins off and cabaret-magic-ing all over the place...

And what are we tootling with in the pipe line? Well, coming up at the end of February is the British Magic Stage Championships which takes place on the largest stage in the UK, before an audience of 3000 magicians.... Personally I'm terrified at the thought of appearing on a stage the size of an aircraft hanger, but the Diva of Magic can't wait to appear with her brand new and very pink huge feather fans in the spotlights!

So far a small fortune has been spent on feathers! Prop makers are going into production on glittering staircases and one is wondering about hiring a few gorgeous dancing boys in thongs... (you can’t go wrong with a few of those...!) We are making the show bigger, just the size for larger cabarets and indulging in a few more besequinned costumes...
 

Since winning the title of the Magic Circle Stage Magician of the Year 2007, I’ve been invited to perform for the Queen at her 80th private birthday party at The Ritz which was very exciting... I’m not sure that I should have told Prince Andrew that he should get out more when he was a bit shocked that I found his card...

The other news is that although I’m still based in Brighton, I’ve got myself a little ‘pied a terre’ in London so that I’m more local for London cabarets and for tripping the light fantastic before bedtime, see me shaking my socks when the gig is done, jiving and salsa-ing till the morning hours, wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!
